Refer a Friend Program Rules

1. Eligibility:
   • The program is open to all current patients of Up North Eye Care
   • The referred friend must be a new patient who has never visited the office before.
2. How It Works:
   • Referrer: Simply let the friend mention your name during their first visit.
   • Referred Friend: The referred friend must mention the referrer’s name when scheduling or checking in for their first appointment.
3. Discounts & Rewards:
   • Referrer: For each friend who books and completes an eye exam AND purchases eyewear, the referrer will receive 15% off their next pair of glasses/ sunglasses. (10% off Contacts)
   • Referred Friend: The referred friend will receive 10% off  their first eyewear purchase. (complete pair of glasses, sunglasses, or Contacts)
   • Benefits for multiple referrals : If you refer 3 friends you would be eligible for 20% off your next pair of glasses. (Each referred friend gets 10% off) 
4. How to Earn Rewards:
   • The referrer will receive their discount once the referred friend has completed their first eye exam or eyewear purchase.
   • Discounts will be applied to the referrer’s next service or eyewear purchase.
5. Limitations:
   • Rewards are limited to [3] referrals per person.
   • Discount eligible on one pair of glasses only
   • Referral discounts cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
   • The program is only valid for referring new patients (those who have never received services from Up North Eye Care before
   • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
   • Must purchase a complete pair of glasses (Frame and lenses) or a year supply of Contacts.
   • Offer valid for glasses OR Contacts – cannot be used on both. 
6. Program Duration:
   • This program is valid starting [09/01/2025] until further notice.
   • Up North Eye Care reserves the right to modify or cancel the program at any time with prior notice.
7. No Expiry for Referrals:
   • Referral credits or discounts do not expire, but we recommend using them within [6-12 months].
8. Referral Tracking:
   • Referrals will be tracked through the referrer’s name or referral code.
   • Referrals should be claimed before the referred friend’s first visit. Claims made after the first visit cannot be retroactively applied. Make sure your referred friend mentions your name upon scheduling or checking in! Also, Make sure you mention you referred someone when claiming your discount (when ordering your glasses)
9. Cancellation:
   • If the referred friend cancels or doesn’t show up for their appointment, the referral will not count toward the referrer’s discount.

Example of Program Flow:

1. You refer a friend (Let’s say your name is Emily, and your friend is Sarah).
2. Sarah visits the office for her first eye exam and mentions that she was referred by Emily.
3. Emily gets her discount once Sarah completes her first exam or eyewear purchase.
4. Sarah gets her own discount for being referred (e.g., 10% off her first purchase).
